Week 1: What Defines Us?
(Daniel 1, 1 Peter 2:11-15)
As we approach this election in a few weeks, you may sense the tension and uncertainty, and as followers of Christ, it can feel like we don’t quite belong in the society around us. Believe it or not, God’s people have faced this before, and perhaps this is how we are called to live in this world. We will look to the story of Daniel and the testimony of the early church to help us answer the question, “What defines us?” when we find ourselves living in a place where we don’t truly belong.
